Wake up! Wake up!

WAKE UP! WAKE UP! CAN’T YOU SEE YOU ARE DYING!!

The title words ring in my head often as they were once related to me by a dear friend of mine who is now passed away. He would not be offended as to the telling of it as he used it in Sermon form to make a point. In short, it was what his brother in law was telling the pastor’s sister as she lay dying in her bed. Shaking the bed by the frame in a violent fashion he yelled, “Wake up!, wake up!, can’t you see you are dying”.
Every study I can find tells me that the death rate on this planet is 1.78 to 1.81 people/second. The low end of that is 153,000 per day. This is not including the some 4100 verifiable abortions per day as these are not considered by most who are taking these statistics to be viable humans.
To continue: In answer to Quantum theory Albert Einstein said [“God does not play dice”]. A short over view of Quantum mechanics can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_mechanics#History
Such theory, although explaining much which had been unexplainable to that point was not popular with Einstein because it negated “General Relativity”. All of this is great information but the point is this. There may be some disagreement with such intricate thoughts but the one thought which is not arguable is this “God does not play dice.” With God there is nothing to chance. One who disagrees with that must answer the question, Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. More over, one must answer the next 63 questions which followed.
With all the increase of the minds of men and of knowledge and of understanding all we do is guess. Great the hypothesis may be but still it is the best guess with the best information at hand.
So what does all this have to do with the rate of death on the earth. I have always considered that to fly into a blind canyon was a foolish course. To never leave one an option in relation to an absolute can become dangerous. This is the way I view Christ as a Savior. There is more than just intellectual evidences which brings one to salvation but these also have to be considered. A simple premise in this is. If I am wrong and am a Christian then I have lost nothing, If I am wrong and am not a Christian then I have lost it all! I have flown into a blind canyon. This is a simplified argument which does not require great exposition and or empirical evidences where by to commit one’s confidence. Still what does this have to do with the death rate on earth: Isaiah 5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Isaiah 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
If the population of the entire world is at best and a greatly exaggerated estimate 2/5 Christian and of those professing say, greatly exaggerated, half are saved (some opinion here) then this would add up to roughly 122,400 souls per day going to hell and 30600, going to heaven. Yes I know, this is just statistics and numbers and you have heard it all before. But if I am wrong I have lost nothing. Tomorrows death would only bring to the end to what actually never had a beginning and a returning to the elements that which was a product of the “blub blub” of time+ chance+ matter. But if I am right then tomorrow’s death would bring 30601 the number spending eternity with Christ the risen Savior. Here is the danger in being right. If I am right. Tomorrow 122,400 will enter into eternity lost. Lost no mater how we have explained our universe. Lost because unlike the God who made us, “we do play dice”.
WAKE UP! WAKE UP! CAN’T YOU SEE YOU ARE DYING!!
