Something I learned sometime ago and had forgotten.

Locked into the categories of time and space how can we, who are, ever talk outside of these categories? In order to do such one must discover something that transcends time and space with which to identify. Before Abraham was, I AM said Christ? Transcending time and space and even eternity is the eternal being of Christ. As such , Christ is the one who fuses every moment of the past, present and future of mankind, if for no other reason than he transcends time, No other Religious figure can or has ever been able to make such a claim. As “infinite” Christ alone gives finite mankind meaning, coherence and a foundation upon which to build. Many have tried to do this in the physical conquering of the known world. Have tried, and still do. Problem is, these come and these go. Either trying to establish a sort of Utopian, fascist, or superman society: or merely conquering and trying to introduce to the world Greek philosophy as Alexander, or Nazism as a Hitler. These and many more have tried in vain to introduce perfect order in a chaotic and order less world and failed. In fact, of all these, one can recall, document and even teach their accomplishments and in epitaph conclude; and then they died. Finite men in the finitude of finite minds accomplishing much to be remembered, but only in failure. Failure in every case and every cause. All of these came to set kingdoms which would use their power to rule and constrain from without. Christ, on the other hand, came to touch the very hearts of men and women which would bring the imperative from within. This is the successful difference in the King Called Christ. Napoleon said, “Alexander’s kingdom and my kingdom will come to naught but the kingdom of Jesus is indestructible; because ours was dominated by power and force but Christ has dominated the lives of people with the power of love.”
Still men in the finitude of their minds and existences seek meaning in the short times which each of us have. Then we die.
