A little faith beats a lot of muscle

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Have you ever considered the difference between believing and Faith. I believe that faith as a grain of mustard seed can move mountains. Is that because it only takes a small amount? I actually think that it is not the amount as small as a mustard seed but “like” a mustard seed. A mustard seed starts out small but grows and grows and grows until it is a very large plant. Perhaps it is not that one believes but that one has a faith that one continues in and as one continues in that faith it does grow and grow until it is very large and is able to do great things for the glory of the Lord.

No matter how much I believed I can lift a 10 ton rock. Believing does not get it done. But if I had actually had a small amount of faith that was nurtured and feed and with thought and action, eventually that rock would have been moved. One way or the other; moved by man, men or the ingenuity of man and power of machine.
It is not that every man does not have faith: that would make God a liar, “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” It may be that man does not exercise the faith he has and we all know, “what you don’t use you loose”. Nah, you do not loose what God has given you in faith but you can hide it and let it wither away like an unattended mustard seedling. Exercise your faith, feed it, and watch it grow!

You see, faith is more than just believing; it is putting that belief into action. If you have the faith of a mustard seed, one that grows in the Lord then through Christ, nothing shall be impossible to you.

Yes! When you nurture that small mustard seed of faith , it begins to grow. As we attend to our faith by being actively involved with God that faith blooms. Feels you with excitement and strength.
